Thin Mint has been announcing roller derby since 2010, and has called over 50 games. They have experience in both house and stream settings.
Originally joining Acadiana Good Times Rollers in Lafayette, Louisiana as a referee, Thin Mint was named the league’s announcer before their first game, thanks to their prior experience calling color for high school and college sports on TV. As the league’s first announcer, Thin Mint played a crucial role in helping to build a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for both skaters and spectators. Their passion for the sport and dedication to promoting the values of roller derby as a community-driven, empowering activity have made them a beloved figure in the world of roller derby.
